Our Yoga Immersion is for anyone interested in digging deeper into their yoga practice and utilizing the gifts of yoga to transform their lives. All that is required to join is a curious mind, an open heart and willing body.
During this training, you will dive deeply into practices of breathing (pranayama), yoga postures (asana), anatomy/biomechanics, and meditation. You will also expand your knowledge of yoga history and philosophy and how this ancient wisdom can become a compass to direct and inspire your life today!
This time spent in learning in a loving and supportive community will help you illuminate the mind and open the heart to finding greater purpose in your own individual life and equally our shared connection to each and this planet.

Essentials of a healthy asana practice - breath, foundation, general form, primary energy flows, and refinements of poses
In-depth exploration of DIG Yoga's level one syllabus of postures, including standing poses, hip openers, arm balances, backbends, inversions, twists, seated postures, and restorative poses.
Introduction to applied anatomy and biomechanics
Fundamentals of pranayama (breathing exercises) & meditation
History of yoga tradition
Comparative study of yoga philosophy - Classical, Advaita Vedanta, Tantra
Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, including the Yamas & Niyamas from a Tantric perspective
Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita
Overview of Ayurveda and the five elements
Restorative yoga
