Created by B.K.S. Iyengar over a period of 75 years of teaching and practicing, Iyengar Yoga is a
method that uses sequencing, timing, and props to promote vitality, resilience, and emotional
stability.

 
Iyengar Yoga offers a safe, gradual and progressive path for transformation to students of any
age, body-type and fitness level.

 

The stressors of everyday life can create tension and weakness, and impede the range of
motion in the shoulders, neck, upper back and by extension, the wrists and hands. With the aid
of props and attention to alignment we will bring more stability and freedom to the shoulder
girdle and the surrounding areas.
