The bodyART method is physical therapy based training system that was designed to achieve holistic balance, physically, psychologically and emotionally.

When you workout with bodyART, you can expect a perfectly balanced experience that will improve your muscle strength, cardiovascular and respiratory stamina, and functional range of motion and joint mobility. The root of all injury is imbalance. Physically, if the right is balanced with the left, the upper body is balanced with the lower, front is balanced with the back, the body works together as a holistic unit. Training with bodyART regularly, allows you to find and correct the aspects that are out of balance, preventing injury

The bodyART system allows us to access the most up to date neuroplasticity and neurogenetic techniques to help our guests get strong AND smart! We look at the interplay between the activation of dynamic movement and the recovery and release of gentle mobilization. Intensity and recovery combined is a potent and sustainable combination that promotes healthy balance.

The bodyART experience was created as a functional self-improvement technique. Our goal is to ensure that your ankles, knees, hips, lower back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and neck are all working as designed many years from today.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) provides the philosophical framework for the bodyART method. By fusing western science (physical therapy, bio- mechanics, kinesiology, myofascial research) with the principles of TCM, bodyART allows the student both cutting edge and ancient understanding of the body. The foundation of TCM is the concept of yin and yang providing a balance between dynamic and passive movement, between inhalation and exhalation, and between polarities.

Alexa is a holistic health coach who studied under the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a CHEK practitioner level 1. She is currently studying under Paul Chek at the CHEK institute and am in her 2nd year of a 5 year tutelage working towards becoming a master Her practice includes working with clients on lifestyle, diet, meditation, sleep, and movement as well as doing postural assessments and corrective exercise first to get the body in alignment along with all other life things in order!
