Sept 28th • Oct 26th • Nov 23rd • Dec 21st
4:00-5:00PM
Join us this fall for a 4-part series designed to either begin or deepen your meditation practice. Meeting once a month (September–December), each one-hour class introduces a powerful practice—Mindfulness, Open Sitting, Self-Inquiry, and Walking Meditation—offering simple, accessible tools to bring more clarity, peace, and presence into daily life.
September 28th – The Skill of Mindfulness
Begin your journey with the foundation of meditation: mindfulness. Learn how to rest your attention on the present moment without judgment, discovering peace and clarity that are available no matter your circumstances. Guided by Geoff Heskett, a certified meditation teacher and longtime student of contemplative traditions, this session will offer simple tools to bring presence into daily life.
October 26th – Open Sitting
Experience the spaciousness of simply sitting with awareness. This practice invites you to open to whatever arises—sensations, thoughts, or sounds—without grasping or resisting. Geoff will guide you in cultivating a gentle, receptive presence, making stillness not a withdrawal from life but a way of living fully in it.
November 23rd – Self-Inquiry
Explore the deeper questions of who we are beyond thoughts and concepts. Through guided self-inquiry, Geoff will help you rest in the clarity that comes before the mind creates stories—inviting insight, freedom, and connection to your essential nature. This class is perfect for those looking to deepen their practice and discover meditation as a path of discovery.
December 21st – Walking Meditation
Bring meditation into motion. In this final session, Geoff introduces walking meditation, a practice that bridges sitting practice with daily life. Learn how to bring mindful awareness to every step—whether on a trail, in the supermarket, or walking your dog—so that presence becomes a way of moving through the world.
Cost: $80 for 4-class series or $25 drop in.
