NOURISH IN NATURE
The Beauty and Benefits of Elderberries
Autumn Equinox Gathering & Medicine Making
Monday, September 22nd | 5:30–7:30pm
At Honey Hollow Farm
with Sue Elkind & hosted by Layla Broumand-Phillips
Celebrate the turning of the season with us in sacred community as we honor the Autumn Equinox—nature’s moment of balance—and explore the beauty and benefits of elderberries, one of the most beloved plant allies for this time of year.
Together we’ll attune to the season with a grounding equinox ritual and meditation, followed by a gentle farm walk to gather apples fresh from the trees (yours to take home!). Then we’ll head into the cozy kitchen to create elderberry syrup with berries grown right on Honey Hollow Farm. Elderberries are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, deeply nourishing to the immune and respiratory systems, and can be enjoyed as syrup, tea, or tincture to support vibrant health through the colder months.
Come enjoy an evening of beauty, connection, and hands-on herbal wisdom—leaving with your own jar of homemade elderberry syrup and the joy of time well spent in nature.
Cost: $80 before 9/8, $90 after, includes materials, farm picking and elderberry syrup making to take home.
Space is limited—please register early to reserve your spot.
Workshop is at Honey Hollow Farm: 2799 Creamery Rd, New Hope, PA 18938
